What is The Swell?

The Swell is a new community and personal growth learning platform that helps people navigate the second half of their lives. We offer a combination of expert-led workshops and symposiums, life-changing experiences, digital wellness tools and an active community. We believe that by making the latest science accessible, we can empower members to live longer, happier and healthier lives.

Our members are not retiring, they're reinvesting -- in learning, personal growth, health and happiness -- and thinking about the next chapter of their lives. Questions like, "How can I be healthier and happier?", "How can I have more meaning in my life?", "What is the most important thing to me right now and why?" are top of mind for us.

What time should I arrive?

Doors will open at 12:30 PM to mingle and grab a seat. The program will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. The program will conclude at 4:00 PM. However, attendees are welcome to linger afterward for additional socializing and any remaining questions

Where is the event taking place?

The event will be held at UTA’s private theater located at 9336 Civic Center Dr in Beverly Hills, CA 90210. We will send final check-in details to you in the days leading up to the event.

Where should I park?

For the easiest parking, use the Rexford Public Parking Lot (first two hours free). Otherwise there is metered parking available along Civic Center Drive. Please note the 10-hour meters are on the northwest side of the street, closest to UTA’s entrance. The meters on the opposite side of the street have a max limit of three hours

What is the Refund Policy?

The Swell does not offer ticket refunds for any reason. Please consider the date before purchasing a ticket.

What should I wear?

The dress code is festive casual.

What should I bring to the workshop?

We encourage you to bring a notebook and pen given the breadth of information we’ll be covering.

Will there be food?

Light refreshments will be served throughout the workshop.

Can I bring snacks or refreshments?

We will have a beverage station and light snacks but you are welcome to bring your own snacks or coffee/beverage that can be consumed outside of the theater.

Will there be a break during the workshop?

Given the flow of the 2-hour workshop, there won’t be a formal break. However, we encourage attendees to take a moment for personal breaks if needed.

Will workshop materials be provided?

Yes, exclusive workshop materials will be provided to all attendees.

Will I be able to ask questions during the workshop?

Yes, the in-person workshop is designed to be engaging and informative, with opportunities for questions and interaction throughout from both the in-person and live stream audience, who submit their questions in advance.

Can I submit questions in advance for the Q&A session?

Yes, we encourage you to submit questions in advance for the Q&A session. To do so, please submit your questions by sending us an email here. Additionally, live workshop attendees will be able to ask questions during the event.

If I step out for a bit, will I be able to re-enter?

Yes. Once you check-in at the event you will receive a wristband that will allow you to re-enter.

If I'm not able to attend in person, can I join via live stream?

Yes, the event will be broadcast through Vimeo. You will need to purchase a live stream ticket in order to receive log in credentials the day before the event.

If I purchase an in-person or live stream ticket and I’m unable to attend will I have access to the digital recording?

Yes, all ticket purchases will receive access to the digital recording once it’s made available for 30 days. An instant replay will be available for 72 hours immediately following the event.

If I'm not able to attend or tune in via live stream, will the program be recorded?

Yes, the event will be recorded and made available as a digital program after the workshop. If you're unable to attend on the day of the event, you can purchase a live stream ticket, which will grant you on-demand access to the recorded program once it's made available. An instant replay will be available for 72 hours immediately following the event.

If I'm unable to attend the event in person, will I be able to collect the copy of my book at a later date?

All attendees must be present at the event to receive their complimentary copy of "The New Menopause."

If I purchase a live stream ticket, when will I receive information on how to access the workshop?

If you purchase a live stream ticket, you will receive an email with login instructions and the access link the day before the event. Please check your inbox for this information. If you encounter any issues, feel free to contact our support team at lmk@theswell.com for assistance.

Are discounts available for group bookings?

Yes, we are pleased to offer group discounts. For more information, please email lmk@theswell.com

If I leave early or forget to pick up my gift bag on the way out, will I be able to collect it at a later date?

All ticket holders must retrieve their gift bags at the event. If you do not collect your gift bag at the event, they will not be available following.
